Zone 1 is where nearly all hotels are and where all the city centre sights are located. The Stade de France, stadium of the French national football team, is served by RER D station Stade de France – Saint-Denis. The main function of the RER D line is to link the northern and southern suburbs to the centre of Paris. The zones are clearly marked on the RER map (see link, left).
